3 DAUGHTERS BREWING HOSTS GASPARILLA MUSIC FESTIVAL’S RECYCLED TUNES BENEFITING PINELLAS COUNTY SCHOOLS

Donate Gently Used Instruments & Receive a Free Ticket to Gasparilla Music Festival

PETE February 28, 2016 Gasparilla Music Foundation (GMF) presents “Recycled Tunes 2016” at 3 Daughters Brewing, Saturday, February 28, 2016 from 2-5p.m. Recycled Tunes is a program benefiting music programs in Bay area schools. Every instrument donated will be repaired by Don Banks and place into local schools. Donors will receive  2 day ticket to the Gasparilla Music Festival, in downtown Tampa, March 12-13, 2016 for each donated instrument.

Recycled Tunes has collected and distributed over 200 new and used instruments in the Tampa Bay area. GMF has also provided music scholarships to the Straz Center’s School of Rock and has implemented internships available for local college students. The program will accept gently used or new instruments and monetary donations to purchase new instruments.

“Our goals is to provide an instrument to any middle school student that may not be able to afford an instrument and has shown passion and dedication to playing music” stated Jamie Zinober, GMF Board of Directors. “We continue to grow our program yearly and look forward to providing instruments for Pinellas County Schools this year” she continued.
