106.1 KISS FM, Jingle Ball, Dec 3, 2014

DALLAS – KISS FM’s Jingle Ball comes once a year around Christmas time to Dallas giving back to the community to celebrate the holiday season. This year’s official charity is Kidds Kid’s, and $1 of each ticket sold will be donated to the non-profit organization, which provides chronically ill and physically challenged children with an unforgettable adventure.

Nick Jonas, the evening’s co-host performed two songs before he introduced LA indie pop quartet Echosmith.  Among a variety of other tunes, the siblings crooned out their claim to fame hit Cool Kids. Rapper Jeremih followed on stage including in his performance two of his hits Birthday Sex and Don’t Tell Em.

Pop sensation Meghan Trainor was ‘All About That Bass’ as she entertained the audience along side a pair of dancers.  Meghan doted on the cheering crowd as she repeatedly told them they were beautiful.  Fall Out Boy’s performance kicked the show up a notch with 50 minutes of a menagerie of songs including Sugar, We’re Goin Down, This Ain’t a Scene, It’s An Arms Race and Mortals from the Big Hero 6 soundtrack.

Rounding out the charitable evening was headliner Jason Derulo.  DJ Papo started the set off with his turntable skills encouraging everyone up on their feet.  Jason and his entourage of dancers entertained the audience with their intermixed freestyle mash ups.  Before the end of the show Jason had performed a myriad of tunes including the ever popular Marry Me, Turn Down For What, Talk Dirty, Wiggle and his finale of Trumpets.
