On Columbus Day weekend (October 8 & 9, 2016), one of the most diverse and unique crossover festival line ups takes the field at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood, NJ, home of the Lakewood Blue Claws, for two days of non-stop dancing and celebration. Announcing the inaugural Adventure In The Park – prepare yourself for an experience unlike any other, with four stages of non-stop live performances, over a dozen amusement rides, games of chance, food trucks and a vendor village all within the state-of-the-art minor league baseball complex, also affiliated with the Philadelphia Phillies major league baseball team. While most festivals are single genre-based, Adventure In The Park aims to bring fans a varied crossover line-up encompassing genres at the heart of Top 40.
Adventure In The Park will be headlined by none other than four-time Grammy-winning superstar Lil Wayne, who after years of being at the top of the music game, has recently reached viral success once again by starring in Samsung’s Galaxy S7 commercials. Lil Wayne is set to close the two day event with the support of buzzing rapper and Twitter superstar Tyga, teenage heartthrob Hoodie Allen, viral Vine and YouTube phenoms Jack & Jack (currently in the studio with hit producer Timbaland), Grammy award winning producer DJ Mustard (whose hits include explosive tracks by Lil Wayne, Chris Brown and Drake), Ookay, 4B, Ghastly, Riff Raff, Skizzy Mars, Dirty Audio, PNB Rock, Botnek, Candyland, Dougie F, Leah Culver, Fight Clvb, Riggi & Piros, Sammy Wilk, Super Duper Kyle, Token, Two Friends, Young Bombs, Blaise Venga, Glitch Matrix, Purari, Sphynx, Yookie and the Art of David Garibaldi. Get ready for four stages of over 10 hours of all day music, each day.
“When the concept of this event started to take shape, we knew we had something special. While overall it’s a solid line up from top to bottom, it’s the undercard that has to be recognized as a game changer and probably have the next two or three years’ worth of headliners spread throughout,” states Adventure In The Park producer John D’Esposito. “Adventure In The Park started with a philosophy to develop from within, so hopefully, one or two of our younger artists on this years bill enjoy themselves so much that they come back.”
