September will be a big month for rising star Siriboe. He plays the male supporting lead of “Flaco” in the upcoming urban coming of age film
“KICKS”. Andrew Barker from Variety says of Kofi’s performance …
“Yet the real cast standout is Siriboe, who takes what initially appears to be a stock thug character and keeps opening him up in surprising ways. Siriboe plays both sides of the character with deep commitment, “Kicks” may be Brandon’s story, but Flaco’s arc is the one that stays in your head when the credits roll”. The film is set to hit movie theaters nationwide on September 9th, 2016.

After seeing Kofi’s portrayal of “Flaco” in the upcoming Focus World film “KICKS”, critics are already predicting that his fresh face and magnetic presence on screen will send his star power sky rocketing soon.

Pegged as one-to-watch, Kofi can also be seen this fall in the highly anticipated television show “Queen Sugar”originating the role of Ralph Angelthe youngest Bordelon sibling, formerly incarcerated young father in search of redemption and the challenges that come with re-entering society.   The series premieres September 6th & 7th, and will then air Wednesdays at 10|9c on OWN. Ava Duvernay and Oprah Winfrey serve as executive producers of the show.
