Phoenix Lights Announces Performers, Phoenix, Arizona

PHOENIX – Phoenix Lights Festival, a brand new festival experience taking place at Civic Space Park in Phoenix, Arizona, this March 22, 2015, has announced the next phase of artists for the inaugural event.  Kicking things off earlier this month with Hardwell, the Dutch electro house superstar, who will be joined by three additional performers on the bill. German house music producer and DJ Robin Schulz serving up his colossal dance remixes; British Deep House producer, Route 94 with the single “My Love” having hit number one in three countries; and buzz worthy Lane 8 join DJ Magazine’s two-time number one DJ in the world. Additional artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

“We’ve been itching to share this next phase for a while. As always, the fans come first and we are building this lineup for them,” says Relentless Beats founder Thomas Turner.  “With Hardwell we have the number one DJ in the world and Robin Schulz with two songs on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Top 10, fans can expect a lot from Phoenix Lights as we continue to add more artists.”

The multi-stage festival will be held at Civic Space Park, an urban setting in Downtown Phoenix.  The space, which first opened to the public in April 2009, is located directly across from the ASU Downtown Campus and near the Central Station METRO Light Rail and bus transfer stations. Drawing inspiration from the park’s centerpiece, a sculpture called Her Secret Is Patience and comprised of fiber nets that illuminate at night, the festival will include art installations from by over 30 local artists, including an oversized live light themed installation by renowned artist, Isaac Caruso. Using light as the primary form of expression, fans can expect cutting edge visuals, unique stage design, interactive experiential installations and more. This theme, which was inspired by the infamous UFO spotting nearly 20 years ago, will be a constant through out the grounds and through the performances. The festival has also partnered with Downtown Phoenix, Inc. and the Phoenix Parks and Recreation Foundation, to help with greening initiatives and recycling.

“Phoenix Lights is a concept we’ve been looking forward to for a long time,”  says festival organizer Jarid Dietrich. “Blending the worlds premier talent with an incredible art-forward theme, allows us to give fans an authentic True Music Xperience.
