The KuL at Wildflower 2016

RICHARDSON, TX  The Wildflower Festival has a little something for everyone, especially when it comes to music. Returning to the festival this year, and kicking things off on the State Farm Amphitheater Stage Sunday afternoon was Dallas’ own The KuL. They claim their music is a mix of Rock & Roll, Blues, Funk, and Soul. I couldn’t agree more! With influences dating back to the 60’s and 70’s, and a bit of modern day rock thrown into the mix along with some good ol’ soul and funk, these cats make it work! From hard driving tunes with a solid groove, to the laid back soulful feel of their song “I Cry”, this band has a little bit of everything for rock and blues fans both young and old.

The KuL is: Johnny Lenix on lead vocals, Dane Manshack and Andrew Supulski on guitar, Ashley Jeans on bass, and Trey Alfaro on drums. Each bringing their own sounds and talents to the table in way that creates music well worth listening to.

Is Johnny’s sound soul, blues, gospel, rock, or something in between? Give it a listen and decide for yourself!

The combination of these two guitarists are a big part of The Kul’s sound.

And of course it takes a solid groove and bottom end to make the band complete.

Being a fan of 70’s rock & roll, along with blues and 60’s soul music, The KuL was a treat for these old ears, and the crowd at Wildflower Festival too!
