Zac Brown Band Announces “Castaway with Southern Ground”

 August 11, 2015 – On the heals of a rock solid, sold-out, three night run at Fenway Park this past weekend, Zac Brown Band’s destination concert experience, “Castaway with Southern Ground” goes on sale this Thursday, August 13 at 12pm ET at www.zbbcastaway.com.

Castaway with Southern Ground is a four-night concert vacation on the beautiful Caribbean coastline of Mexico, brought to you by Cloud 9 Adventures. >From January 27-31, 2016, guests will join Zac Brown Band as they perform two full shows over four nights at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya. An incredible collection of musicians will join Zac Brown Band for the event – including Kacey Musgraves, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Dawes, Brett Dennen, The Wailers, and Darrell Scott – creating a unique concert experience each night of the event. The shows take place under the stars with the ocean as the backdrop, making this the perfect winter concert getaway with Zac Brown Band and friends.

Much more than just an intimate run of shows, this all-inclusive experience is limited to 2500 fans with all meals, drinks, concerts and activities included in the package. In addition to the shows, fans will have the chance to experience the beautiful Riviera Maya region of Mexico, the resort’s luxurious grounds with stunning tropical views, turquoise lagoons set against a private white sand beach enclave and exclusive saltwater snorkeling areas. Daily activities will be planned specifically for fans – poolside games, cooking demos, yoga classes, theme nights and more. Castaway with Southern Ground is partnering with the charitable organization Positive Legacy, encouraging artists and fans to participate in a day of service and cultural connection in the local community as a way of giving back. In addition to the day of service project, the event will feature an auction and a donation drive to benefit the local community. All proceeds from the auction will go toward the ongoing Positive Legacy charitable projects in this region.
