AUSTIN MEADE INTRODUCES FORT WORTH TO “WAVES”

Fort Worth, TX (January 25, 2019) – Austin Meade, who hails out of New Braunfels, Texas, but boasts proudly of being born in Fort Worth, drew an amazing crowd last Friday night.  He opened for Grady Spencer at the Magnolia Motor Lounge. Austin and his band have long called “Mags” their home bar.  Often times Mead would show up to play at when there was more bar staff than patrons. However, he’s never let it diminish his spirit – or his love and immense talent for stage performance.

FANS RETURN TIME AND TIME AGAIN TO SHOW THEIR LOYALTY

The long-haired and currently mustached singer-songwriter, and his band played a fourteen-song set.  They played a mix from his Heartbreak Coming EP and his forthcoming album Waves (due out March 1st). Austin’s energy and passion he brings to his performances are the reason fans of his will see him countless times. His music orchestrates a mix of lyric-based melodies with guitar. Austin and Willie (the lead-guitarist) demonstrate this with excellence. Completing the four-group band, Seth on Bass and Brandon on Drums, the songs these guys love to play speak truth of persistent hard work, a little heartache, and the drive for living life and wanting more. It’s true red dirt music, with a unique bluesy and gritty edge to it.

A quick glance around midway through their set proved Austin engulfed the crowd.  Most were even mouthing the words or singing along right with him. The new music from Waves flowed perfectly with his more seasoned songs like Born with a Broken Heart and Meant for More. And as great an opening act as Austin Meade and his band are, one doesn’t need to think too hard to realize that probably won’t be the case for long!
